52MM F3.5 "SIMOR" WIDE ANGLE LENS FOR KALIMAR 660 & FUJITA (JB)

Description

Vintage 52mm f3.5 "SIMOR" wide angle lens in fixed metal 44mm thread mount common to the Kalimar 660 and Fujita medium format SLR cameras.
Excellent condition but not perfect, firstly there is very little central scuffing of the rear element, always a concern with these lenses no matter what name is on them because the center of the glass is proud of the surrounding metal bezel. In other words if you set the lens down on its mount without a cap you will scratch the glass. The cap shown is not the best fit but deep enough that it clears the glass.
Other than that the glass if very clear for a nearly 60-year old lens, we would expect it to produce images now nearly as well as it did when new.
The pre-set aperture mechanism works fine, the focus is smooth. There is a fairly large scuff on the filter rim (last photo) but the included 72mm metal lens cap (not shown) threads on fine so no effect on using filters.
