Carl Zeiss-Tessar Lomb & Bausch 5X7 Large Format Series1C Lens, #3168316, mounted on a Graflex Camera body. The lens was manufactured in Rochester, New York in 1903. The lens clearly has the most value and is in great condition. The lens is mounted on a late 1800s Graflex Bellows Camera with a collapsible hood and a ground glass finder. The Graflex bellows is supple and in great condition, as is the hood and ground glass finder. The Graflex body has seen better days, but appears to be operational, and would make a great overhaul project.
In better condition, this camera and lens could easily fetch ,500 (See current eBay listings), but I am starting the bidding at just . - clearly a deal!!! This is a really great camera with I'm sure, lots of history. It is by far to magnificent a camera to toss it on the scrap heap - it surely deserves more. Please note that this is an extremely heavy camera and will be mailed USPS Priority Mail with applicable insurance.
