Beautiful horse trophy 1952 show award by the famous "Boots and Saddle Club"
Components and craftsmanship to make this award was no doubt a very
expensive trophy to make back in the day. Such great history form the show and
the sponsoring club. The detail in the loving cup and the horse is outstanding.
37 years of my collecting my huge collection of fine art in vintage trophies, this
is one of the best. It was made by Dodge trophy Co. They were the first to make
the Oscar and the Emmy trophy. Thats where the quality comes from.
The club spared no expensive when they purchased this.
Hard to photo all of the engraving with the bright brass flash back.
Spokane Horse Show 1952 Gaited Stake by Boots and Saddle Club
Stands 27 inches tall with the loving cup being a very large style with all
kinds of detail measures 15 inches 9 inches wide. The base is of a thick
bakelite that is 7 1/2 round. The horse is 6 1/2 inches long and 6 1/2 tall.
Detail on the horse? Pictures tell it all even down to the braided reins.
What a beautiful display it makes for you and your friends to admire.
