English 19th century sterling silver and leather five compartment purse. It has a magnificent cast sterling floral decorations in the front. It has many marks over the interior (please see the pictures). All metal parts are made from sterling. It has some wear over the interior and upper corners.
It is still in great condition for a 120 year old item.
The weight of the sterling plate in the front is about 80 grams together with the leather. The total weight of the purse is 116 grams.
It is 5 ½” wide x 2 ½” tall 1” thick.
