Description

This is a rare Kodak Aero Ektar 178mm (7 inches). It was purchased originally from a very old Theater Cinema going out of business in United Kingdom. This lens was part of the lenses used with the Theater Television Projector, it is a Kodak Aero Ektar adapted as a projection lens with a brass barrel, the aperture was removed.
It has an inscription that says "BF 1230MM" or "Back Focus 1230 millimeters" and another inscription that says "178mm".
This lens has a special glow in the images it produces, maybe due to the Thorium on the rear lens group.
