I am selling an ultra rare brass vintage Large format lens
ULTRA RARE BIG Aplanatic Orthoscope II lens
Made by Guandlach Optical in Rochester in the end of 19 century
or early beginning of 20 century.
SN 1575
I have made intence search and didn't find any reference in internet on this lens.
So it can be considered as ultra rare with high collectible status.
Covers about 5x7"
Measured Focal Distance is 45 cm
Glass is excellent.
No damages, no separation, no fungus.
Nice condition of lens body.
Great patina!
Weight = 1.1 KG
Height = 210 mm
Front Diameter = 95 mm
Rear Diameter = 67 mm
Lens design assumes no aperture blades but there is a waterhouse slot.
This is a great vintage lens for great price.
Fantastic collectible item.
Perfect for usage in large format photography.
Comes with a mounting flange.
