arge format process lens. Made in Germany. Serial #148431. Circa 1925. Very rare vintage Zeiss Apo Tessar flat field process lens. A very small number of this lens were ever produced. Heavy duty lens to cover ultra large format cameras. Will cover at least 20x24" cameras. This large well made Apo Tesssar lens weighs 11lbs. You will need a large camera with a very sturdy front standard on it to hold this lens. Lens in is

cosmetic condition. No dings or dents. Some small paint wear, and a few marks around on the lens barrel. Good working order. Smooth working lens aperture. Good non-coated glass. Some small very fine cleaning marks on the glass that can be seen with a flashlight only. These will have no affect on your photos. Some small dust spots inside that can be seen with a flashlight only. Overall fairly nice condition Zeiss Apo Tessar vintage lens. Original lens mounting flange included. Flange diameter is 83mm. Lens will require an 8x8" or larger size lens board. Front and rear lens filter diameter is 130mm. Lens length is 110mm. 43* angle of coverage. Upon testing this lens it appears that you will need about 4' of bellows extension to focus this lens at infinity.
