This Burlington store in N.J. is relocating and replacing a former Toys ‘R’ Us

A Passaic County Burlington store is making a move this fall.
The discount department store’s Wayne Hills Mall location is relocating across the parking lot to replace a former Toys ”R” Us.
The shop previously located at 24 Wayne Hills Mall will be situated at 7 Wayne Hills Mall and officially open on Nov. 8.
Wayne’s Burlington location will feature a revamped store layout. Shoppers will be able to find discounts on Burlington’s usual items, including ladies’ apparel and accessories, menswear with an assortment of big and tall sizes, kidswear, baby gear, home décor and petcare products.
As Burlington moves to the new location, it is also looking to hire employees for several open positions. Those who are interested in applying can do so here.
Its grand opening weekend will run from Nov. 8-10 with deals and giveaways for customers. From Friday, Nov. 8 to Saturday, Nov. 9, the retailer will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the first 100 customers, who are 18 and older, will receive a $10 Bonus Card to use toward their purchase. On Sunday, Nov. 10, customers will receive a free Burlington umbrella when they visit the store.
Burlington Wayne Hills Mall will be open Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday to Saturday from 9-12 a.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
This recent relocation follows the opening of a Burlington at the River Front Center in Clifton on April 26, occupying a space that previously housed Bed Bath & Beyond. New Jersey now has 51 Burlington stores across the state.
Three more stores are planned to open on Nov. 1 in Bridgewater at 155 Promenade Blvd., Eatontown at 92 State Route 36 and Vauxhall at 2255 Springfield Ave.
The discount chain operates more than 1,057 stores nationwide, as of June 2024.
